Subject: The Thunderwolves' Thread!!

Apparently, I'm the slacker team captain because I haven't made a thread for us.  Well, we now finally have our own thread to discuss how awesome we all are.

Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend and gets a chance to go out and do some training.  Any fun plans?  Races?

I'm running a 1/2 marathon in Virginia Beach tomorrow, so I'll be well on my way for my running miles.

Artemis,

Don't worry about it... We Thunderwolves KNOW how great we are and don't need to talk about ourselves incessantly, like some other teams.  When you know you are good you don't need to talk, just do.

I mean.... is there any doubt that we are going to trounce the others?  I didn't think so.

Peace,

Brian

X2.  Too easy.

I'm doing a 10K race on Monday.  My first official race of any kind.  Looking to improve my 10K PR from 10:42min/mi pace to ?????  maybe 10:00min/mi even.  I know, I'm slow, but luckily this challenge isn't about speed.

We're going to kick @zz!

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hey team capitan!   You'll be logging some killer miles for the team.  Best of luck.  I'll be handing out water and go-juice at the Labor Day 8 mile run here in Tucson.  Thunderwolves rule!

Looks like I was wrong...totals should only be from 9/1 and 9/2.  I'm going to check everyone's logs (hope they are up to date!) and put what I think are the totals here in a few minutes.

Hey team,

Great job to start the month! I nominated myself team geek and did some "analysizing" on goals/results. Listed below are total goals, miles logged thru 9/2, and the resulting weekly total needed to meet the Sept goal. Let me know if this is useful, needs changes, or additional info would be helpful. Cameronw wins the right to wear the 1st official Team Thunderwolves BIG Achiever Jersey w/ a weekending 15% accomplished. Way to go!

Great charting.  If that doesn't keep us on track I don't know what will.  It makes the finishing the challenge idiot-proof.  Good work.  Like I said before:  Thunderwolves Rule!

This is a great chart.  Are you able to add a Team Total line?

I finally went out for a run tonight nbut I'm having a hard time right now. I have 22 hours in college and family obligations and training seems to take a backseat. I will try to get back into a rhythm but I can't promise anything.

I know the feeling of being so busy.  It can be frustrating to try to fit everything in.  Do as much as you can and remember to take care of yourself.

Well, it wasn't a run or bike but I did get a swim in tonight. I also have a bowling outing with the local AOP fraternity here. I'm a pledge there this fall so this is part of the rush activities. I plan on going out for a run tomorrow morning before class.

I just posted Sat's ride today (Mon). I should now be at 97m on the bike. I am starting a run focus so running will pick up and will be keeping my bikes. Just dropping my swim for the fall.
