Theonly way you got those stars was getting threads yanked.  That's not really fair play if you ask me.  Marmadaddy can take your stars away in a heart beat so watch yourself!

Not really- I'm not too far behind.  But then again, I'm not wasteful with my posts either   I save them for when I have something good to say

Maybe someone has a different opinion, but posting burrito pics doesn't exactly qualify as "something good to say."

I love when people prove my points.

Why don't you come talk about incarceration/execution and the merits of Tookie Williams' writing, or do you not have something worth saying?

Heh...I kill myself.

I think you both (Janelle & Jim) need to up your thread count on Triathlon Talk if you want to gain any respect of your BT peers.  Burritos and bad jokes are fine, but the Silver Star was meant for those that actually contribute to BT.

And same goes for you Haley....

I have 1100 posts in forums other than COJ, and many, many, many of my COJ posts are in the non-fluff COJ threads. I'm always active in the political/social threads.

So pipe down, llama boy.

Like you said to Janelle...."Thanks for making my point".   Jokes, Politics and Social discussion.  Where does Triathlon fit into this mix?

Well...let's see. I have twice as many tri talk posts as you. And contributing is more than just talking triathlon. I think we're more than triathletes here. I consider myself a well-rounded person, and I certainly wouldn't describe myself first and foremost as a triathlete. I'd probably start with father/husband. So to that end, I talk about more than just triathlon.

(and yeah, I get it)

I don't mean to step in for Jim, but here's a book suggestion:  Spirit of 69: By George Marshall.

That post was not lame. It just happens that not very many people who frequent the cuppa are as well rounded as Jim and I. But dude. I have nightmares about those burrito pics. Thery're like Absolut ads, clever once or twice, but when they are EVERYWHERE, well.... at least take some new ones!

Don;'t be dissin Jim.

Actually, that's a nerve cell. A nerve is actually a concerted group of nerve cells.

See? I'm educating...

And...if it says that the dendrites receive signals, not not label the axon with "axons send signals."  Why do they have to forget about the axon?  It's just as imprtant as the dendrite.  Sheesh...I guess everyone can't be as smart as us science nerds
