Beating up on the "sisters of the blind" (A&M) is hardly worth wagering about...

Um, Haley...step away from the crack pipe, honey.  I love my Aggies with all my heart...and I am PRAYING for a miracle.  But the likely scenario is that Tech beats us by about 40.

**Edit for Haley**

A&M is going to beat the ever livin', ever lovin', compound, complex, Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 1992 HELL outta Texas Tech.

Well, we know we're a long shot, but I'm not going to sit here and say "were going to lose" or something like that. I'm still rooting for my team!

I agree....and I will be parked in front of my TV screaming my head off, and hoping that we play the game of the year, because if there is one team I despise almost as much as t.u., it is the Sand Fleas out in Lubbock!

Outside the fringe group of fanatics like yourself, who really cares? They're playing for second place (or lower) in Texas, for goodness sake. It's not like either of them is a contender, or has a decent team.

Hey, I can't be on my "A" game 100% of the time. Besides, your poor downtrodden excuses for football teams have awoken the pity in me.

Lower is right... if God miracles the Aggies to a win that would make TCU the second highest ranked football team in Texas...

When you lose to Iowa State and barely beat Baylor, both at home, then nothing less than intervention from the almighty will help you.

I think Tech ends up playing LSU in the Cotton Bowl and wins!! Not because we are better, but because Les Miles might be the worst coach in the nation.

Tech wins by 14+ against the aggies!!

Obviously a narrow definition of "teams that matter." Are the only "teams that matter" the ones you beat? Like a hobbled Georgia team? What's next? The Little Sisters of the Poor?

As sad as this article is, it also made me laugh.

Entire Family Beats Child

College Station, Texas - A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a Brazos County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Texas Aggies, whom the boy firmly believes are not currently capable of beating anyone.
