Subject: Cyclocomputer mounting - HELP!
So, I've been doing tris for almost 3 years w/o a computer on my bike. My awesome wife, however, got me a really nice one for our 2 year anniversary on Monday. I need some help with the install.

I have vision tech base/aero bars, and run the bars as close together as possible, effecitvely blocking the only circular part of the wing bar. Is there a way I can install them between the aerobars, out in front of the wing? If so, how?

At the moment it seems like the only choice I have is to separate my aerobars enough to squeeze the computer in, but with the stem clamp I don't think there's enough space even with them as wide as they'll go.

HELP!

Why not mount it on the outside of the bars? Or, better yet, on the stem?

Don't think the mounting platform will allow it:

If you can mount it inside the aerobars you can mount it outside just as well. A lot of folks do that to accomodate the aerobottle.

Perhaps with the P-D adapter?

I mounted my bike computer on the inside of the aerobar - but on the length that extended inside the "cockpit" utilizing the doo-dad that John suggested. (Essentially, it is on the inside of my right elbow, next to the stem.)

This way I was able to get an unobstructed view of the computer without having to move my around while keeping the drink from my aerobottle splashing sticky Gu20/CarboPro on it.
