Subject: Speedsuit question
With regards to the speedsuits that are available for a non-wetsuit swim, do you keep them on for the entire race (like a tri-suit) or take them off like a wet suit?

They can be used for the entire race, but there are no pockets (at least on my Desoto Liftfoil) which makes it hard to carry gels and such.

But they are also super easy to take off.  I just have my tri suit on underneath with my gels in the pockets and into transtion off the speedsuit goes!  My T1 at my oly. a few weeks ago was under a minute including removing the speedsuit.

Speaking of Speedsuits, has anyone tried the Xterra Velocity?  It's 50% off right now and might be hard to pass up since the Blue Seventy is double the price.  I assume they are comparable products...

do you need to size up a little to fit over your tri suit? I thought that they are made very tight?
