Subject: help me execute my '09 goalsThis is my first year in anything related to endurance sports and so far it's been enjoyable. I completed one sprint and have another at the end of this month. I'm targeting the following goals for '09: 1. Drop 15-20 LBS by the spring 2. Become competitive in AG for sprints rather than just finish (By competitive I mean better than MOP but not necessarily podium finishes) 3. Complete at least 1 OLY by Aug 4. Half Mary in the Fall Right now my base is minimal and I need to train on all 3 diciplines pretty hard to become more efficient/faster. . How can I best use the off season to maximize potential for '09? Should I spend a month on each discipline exclusively or mix it up in parallel? Add pilates, yoga, strength training? Should I consult a coach? Lots of questions... |
