Anybody use it? I got it and am excited, but what the heck does the 'T' mean at the end of some of the transition plan workouts and what does SPS in the swim workouts mean? Any opinions on the plans overall? Thanks!
I love his plans! I found you had to actually read all the text for the Off Season plan to get the codes, because he doesn't put them in a nice chart like he does for the other plans. Look at the top of page 421... T means technique oriented workout. SPS means swim pull set.
Two comments about the training plans in this book, other than that they are super.
1 ) not enough of a taper. I eased off on what he said to do in the last 10 days when following the OLY level 7 plan.
2 ) he does not use HR zones. I just converted his six zones in the RPE chart on page 9 to Zones 1-5a. So, if his workout code specifies Moderate Aerobic Effort, it means zone 2.
