Subject: compression FAQs
Whens the best time to "compress" your legs? after workout? during sleep? Should i wear tights or just wrap tightly with bandages?

I wear my cheap Rite Aid brand compression socks after tough workouts ... I wouldn't wrap your legs with bandages, though ...

I used to wear mine after long runs and bikes, mostly in the weekend or after hills. I used to sleep in them 5-6 nights a week also.

I didn't notice a difference using them really. Hence I've sold them off and don't use my skins anymore.

I wear mine after long runs and bikes.  I have them on right now.  If I put them on in the morning (tpically after an early morning run) I wear them all day then take them off to sleep.  If I put them on in the evening I'll wear them overnight.  They've worked well for me -- they decrease recovery time.

I race in my calf compression sleeves.  They help manage a nasty shin splint I have.  I'm on my feet all day so I wear them at work too.
