But in hindsight, my low back issues couldn't have been solved by accupuncture, only surgery was going to do the trick. I do believe, though, that for certain injuries, it has the potential to help...I'd give it a go. It is relatively low cost, and certainly low risk. Plus, I found that medicinal qualities aside, the accupuncture sessions was an amazingly relaxing hour...so even if it doesn't work for the shoulder, it's similar IMHO to getting a deep tissue massage. Very, very relaxing. |
