any planned ongoing training rides for Augusta? would like to meet up with others riding for weekly long ride. Since I am new to this site, if there is somewhere I should go to find these rides, let me know! thanks, j

There was a group of us locals who rode it this past Sunday- 9 of us. We averaged between 17ish-18ish mph. We plan to get together again for more group rides. I think a lot of us have different things going on this weekend and probably won't meet up this weekend to ride the course. But hopefully next weekend we'll arrange something. Keep checking back in the GA forum for group ride updates- we'd love to have you join us!

If I read you correctly, you are not necessarily looking to ride the Augusta route, but to just do a long ride with a group. If that is so, Courtney is getting a group together to ride up at the Bud Plant Saturday. They are doing a 48 mile loop and then a 31 mile loop after getting water refills so you can do either 31, 48 or 79 with a group of people.
