Cannot enter distances with fraction

We have those fields defined as "number" types so people using some mobile devices can have a numeric keyboard default for those fields.  For whatever reason, the Opera developers have decided that "number" means "integer only" and that those god-awful spin boxes should also be displayed for them.    Oddly enough, the Opera Mobile browser doesn't do either, it completely ignores that attribute.

It's not a standards issue, it just seems that the Opera people just decided that they want to do it this way.

I'm using Chrome.

Which version? I just logged a few workouts with Chrome 5.0.342.9 with decimal values in the distance fields. You can see one in my swim workout today.

It's kind of a moot point, we'll be removing the "number" type from those fields later tonight.

Just a note, the up/down arrows, I guess that's what you're calling a spin box, are gone and the number boxes are just input boxes again. I'm guessing we can use Opera to input numbers with decimals. I'll find out later today, after swim.
