Subject: acronyms and terms
Alright, I'll fess up...I'm not the best at acronyms and I haven't fully learned all of the terms yet, but I'm wondering if some of the training plans are based on something?

For example, some of the plans say to run and then add in core #2, but I find no information on what core #2 is.

Also, I see RI used for the bike and 'loosen' as a term for swimming. I'm just wondering if someone can point me to some more literature I should be referring to or a page that I am missing....maybe a glossary of terms.

Most of them I get, or have seen in the general books that we all own, but I guess I'm still missing some.

Thanks for any and all help

At the bottom of all plans, you will now see:  You will also find a link to the Core workouts.

RELATED ARTICLES

Regarding the terminology you referred to, point me to the plan and the day that mentions those terms, I will talk to Mike and add them to the general 'Training Plan Terms' per his definitions.  This part will be an evolution, but the more you ask, the better it will be.

Thanks! I guess I browsed over that 'See Related Articles' Part...

That link to the core workouts helps and the pictures are great. The other terms that I was referring to are located in the Olympic Base 12 week plan (RPE), days #1 and #9

Thanks again

RI = rest interval
Loosen - just means easy - 'loosen up', whether it be easy free, back, breast
