Subject: The show LOST
I am about to complete season 1 on dvd (I don't watch television, so netflix has to suffice). I am hooked on the show, however, will it be the "same" twists as season 1? I'm currently on the episode where Lock attempts to save Boone but no luck.

I can see how it -could- get old..

I'm with you. I finished season 1 last month and am waiting until season 2 is over to watch it. Reviews are still good but I've read also it gets far fetched. I can't see how it could be better than 24 but I'm excited to start season 2.

Last week's episode had me on the edge of my couch. I thought it was one of the best ones so far.

Disclaimer: I also was hooked on The X Files for 5 full seasons before getting tired of the Chris Carter tease.

Season 2 has been a bit slow lately as the series backtracked and introduced several new characters. As a result, only like two days have passed in Island Time. There have been many twists so far this season, I find it to be just as entertaining as the first season. It is, however, time to move forward a bit.

Totally agree with Renee that last week's episode was gripping, and did finally start to move time forward.

Edit: I don't find anything thus far this season to be "far-fetched," but then little has been explained.
