Run
Comments: IT was a relatively hard run. My stomach was cramping up slightly throughout the run. The hills weren't horrible, but bad enough coupled with the cramps. I still enjoyed the run immensely, just didn't feel great during it. However when I saw my time, I was thrilled. What would you do differently?: Drink the tea! Drink more water. Go to the bathroom one more time. Post race
Warm down: Stretched out and waited for Roy...and waited...and waited. He was 8 minutes behind me. What limited your ability to perform faster: Hills, maybe cramps. I'm very pleased with the pace, though. This is a PB for a race. Event comments: The event was amazing! They did such a great job. There was TONS of food. The emotion of the event was incredible, but not overdone. We were both really really glad that we decided to do it. While I say "too hard" up there, the course wasn't really too hard, but it wasn't just right either. It was challenging and I needed the challenge! Last updated: 2004-06-07 12:00 AM

Ate my race morning normal breakfast of oatmeal, but no tea. I should have had the tea because my stomach was gurgling and that would have settled it. Got to the race and had a small box of cereal (sample size) and some water.
Ran about 3/4-1 mile or so to warm up. Stretched out.
