sweet, I had the honor of watching a space shuttle launch off the coast of Florida back in the 90's and it ranks up there with one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

I was on a Navy Destroyer then and being a Fire Controlman I immediately ran inside and started to track it with our main missile fire control radar and it was the coolest thing I've ever locked onto.  I lost it at around 120k feet, and was doing all kinds of stuff to try and get it back and one of my buddies said.  "do you think it's a good idea to be hitting the space shuttle with all that RF" and I said, "oh yeah, probably not a good idea"  lol

My cell phone video didn't capture it, but we basically saw a similar orange glow rise from the SW horizon. Very cool!

I'm disappointed I missed it.  I'm a huge science and space geek.  I hadn't heard about it until I saw your post, and it looks like we would have been able to see it fairly well.

I got to see a shuttle launch at Kennedy in the early 90's too.  It was a really cool experience!

I am so bummed I missed this. I had no idea it was happening and was actually outside at 8:15 p.m. last night (I'm not typically hanging around outside at that hour).

I was pretty excited to test out a triathlon-specific gear bag. I'm on the lookout for something functional, comfortable, and maybe even a bit stylish.

The folks at RSS weren’t happy with the 4.75, so they updated the backpack and sent me a new one. They have continued engineering this already fantastic bag to make it even better.

The Elite wetsuit was redesigned four times before going to the market in order to maximize its benefits. Does all this speed come at the expense of comfort? I had to find out.

Until now, I have shied away from triathlon-specific gear bags. They were just too small for my needs. So imagine my skepticism the day the RRS Triathlon Backpack showed up on my door.

Rocket Science Sports has applied its hyper-technical approach to designing a water bottle. The result is a water bottle with dimples similar to those on a golf ball.
