It's hump day, folks! Downhill from here to the weekend and, for me, race day. Crazy Uncle Jamie, that event you did yesterday looks like a blast. The availability of events like that are what make Austin such a great city.

6:10 - easy 30' swim, with three 100s at goal pace. Felt easy and relaxed.

Hope you all have a great one!

Good morning from Park City! Hubby and I are heading out on a single track trail--23 mile round trip! Hubby hasn't really ridden in a while so I plan to ride ahead and offer some pace booty! Ha!!! Have a great day BT! You all are awesome!Ohhhhh! Something I have kept quiet for months came to fruition yesterday---I sat for my Personal Trainer Certification exam and passed! woooot! Now on to Youth Exercise Certification so I can get my plan to start a kids boot camp rolling by winter!

Pace Booty? Not heard of that one, but not questioning that it would work...

Congrats on passing your exam! Sounds like a noble plan you've got there.

For me, I did my usual 2 minute plank while the coffee was brewing. I greatly reduced the coffee for the week or so before my race, so I had to change this routine a bit. It's nice to be back on it. After the plank I did 22 pushups while I was down there. They have that thing floating around Facebook about doing 22 pushups a day for 22 days to try to raise awareness to veteran suicide.

After I got moving a bit I hit the bike trail trying to beat the heat. I failed on that note. It's not the heat, it's the humidity. I had some trouble with the mount for my saddle bag shifting which causes the bag to run the rear tire. I tried tightening it a few times to no avail, so now it's time to redesign it. It really needs 4 screws, but apparently 2 extra screws and nuts would have raised the price too much. But I digress...

I got in my 12.5 miles and opted to skip the run today. Maybe this afternoon I'll end up at the Y on their indoor track, but I am doubting it.

Have a great day everyone,

J White

AWESOME Kim! Great news and congrats! You will be a fantastic role model to those kids of yours!!

5am - 3 mile run

7am - 50 min spin

Subbing all this week at another club so schedule is all messed up, but fun to teach somewhere different for a change!
