 2 |  Subject: New from TennesseeHey, everybody! My name is Mara, and I live in southern Tennessee. I did two sprint triathlons back in 2014. I really enjoyed them, but got caught up in a new job, going back to school, blah blah blah. I am in Nurse Practitioner school (have been an R.N. for 20 years!) and I helped with the Medical team at our local triathlon last summer. It got me excited about trying out some more sprint tri's this year, so here I am! I registered for an event that takes place in June. I started back swimming a couple of months ago and got a new bike for Christmas. I just ran a half marathon this past weekend, so I'm not concerned about the endurance, just the good ole transitions, the bike, and the swim! I'm excited I found this website and community; got a nice training plan that will work great with my schedule. Happy Spring to all you athletes! |
