Subject: Ironman Maryland : Official Thread
Under 6 weeks out and I see there wasn't a thread for this year. Anyone doing this? I did Louisville in 2015 and wanted to stay in a driveable range for my next. Any advice from the people who have done this course before?

Have a good race. I do wish the discussion boards had more activity in them but Facebook is filled with all kinds of advice and comments on Maryland Ironman. I would like to do this race one day. Maybe next year? I heard that Santa Rosa IronMan course change is horrible because of congestion and anti-IronMan locals. Scared to death doing Santa Rosa but already signed up for 2018 I might be deferral it to MD. I would love to read your race report!

I am. This is peak week so I am trying for full iron distance for the week then half iron distance for next week Then a nice easy taper.
