Took my ride to Chipotle today. Now since I haven't seen another yellow mini around town ever, I think people will really notice how much I go there....sad. The workers already recognize me, now the people in the neighborhood will know my problem.

Had a barbacoa fajita burrito with salsa....yum....

once again, please lets not title a thread "CHIPOTLE" and then have this disgusting talk about other places serving "real burritos".   Comet, I am starting to resent you.

Hmm, that sounds kind of mean, doesn't it.

Come back to Texas and get a real burrito.....

Reminds me of a song called "Ohio (Come Back to Texas)" that I heard on the radio a couple of days ago. The last line from the song says "Besides the Mexican food sux north of here anyway".

I have been working very hard, trying to save money, so that I can buy you your very own Chipotle.  But if you're gonna cop an attitude, maybe I'll just spend that money on booze and women.

LMAO! The booze and women might be a good idea since I'm a Freebirds and Texas girl at heart. I just don't think we would work. Chipotle is sloppy seconds...

I'll step up and apolgize here, since I'm the one that derailed this from a Chipotle love-fest.

Mind you, that doesn't change the fact that Chipotle isn't fit to carry Freebird's aluminum foil.

Anyplace with an American name can't be serving good burritos. Where is the creativity in the naming conventions? I'm guessing Firebird is code for TexMex burritos. Come to California where we haven't ruined the authentic burrito.

Can I get an AMEN?

They are opening up a chipotle around the corner, it looks like another Rubio's/Baja Fresh/Sharky's type of joint?!?!

Here's a story:

I used to go to this one specific Chipotle all the time a couple of years ago. This one woman working there began to recognize me and was always very kind. I started new job and haven't been back to that specific Chipotle. Skip ahead 2 years to today. They've opened a Qdoba localy and today I go in there for lunch. Guess who's there? Guess who recognized me?

Do I have a problem?

Freebirds was my first and only burrito true love. Chipotle is just a hold-over, rebound until I can get back to Freebirds. Sorry 3558, I thought you knew all along...

Amen. Texas doesn't have real Mexican, just the bastardized entity that is Tex-Mex. SoCal has real Mexican, and the best is tacos off of a random roach coach. Can anyone say lingua cabeza? Or El Cholo for tamales.

OK, so today's the day that I got back on the training program post-hurrivac, so how did I celebrate????  I went to Chipolte of course!!!  Now I went it alone for my virgin experience, but I survived.  I figure that since I routinely change my tires on my own, I could lose my Chipolte virginity by myself too.  Damn, single life!

Don't be ashamed.  Everyone has to change their own tire before they can figure out how to change someone else's.  Supposedly, the more you practice, the "better" you get.  At least, thats what Comet told me...  I've heard that some BT'ers can change a tire in under a minute

We can still be friends can't we?
