Subject: Events in Oct/Nov

Are there any good running, cycling, DU or anything else in the minneapolis/st paul area in oct/nov?  i am looking at doing some running races and thought you guys might know!

Not exactly in Oct, but almost.  Come on down to Rochester for the Treadman Duathlon on Sept 27.  It's a great course.  More info on the web page.

Nerstrand Big Woods 5K, 10K, and 1/2 marathon is in October I believe. A popular run with soup served by church ladies following.

Another vote for Big Woods. Great course. Food from Church Ladies. What more could you ask for?

The Lake Phalen 5K in St. Paul is a nice, small event. Not as unique as Big Woods, but good for a fast morning run around the lake.

I'm going to run the Freedom 10 Miler around White Bear Lake for the 2nd time.  It's a nice race, perfect time of year imho.  Check out www.raceberryjam.com for lots of events.
