Subject: 48 Hour Treadmill Record Attempt

Don't think anyone has posted this yet but it looks like Dean Karnazes is going to try and break the record for 48 hours on a treadmill starting today on the Regis and Kelly show.

 I know he failed on a 24 hour attempt last year because the room he was in was close to time square and he was breathing CO2 so hopefully they fixed that this year. 

This is just crazy to think about.  I can't imagine laying in bed for 48 hours straight let alone running for that long.

I think I will go for 48.735, why not invent my own distances so that I can set a world record at every distance.  I would hate to compete at a standard distance or time.
