I've been taking spinning classes over the winter to make indoor biking more fun and a better effort. I was curious how people log it. Spinning is listed as a sport, but if I log it there, it doesn't show it as biked time. Which do most of you do?
I log it as bike miles because I plan it and do it as actual training.
I log my commuter biking as "commuter cycling" (also listed as a sport) because it is not training-specific and it's usually broken up into several parts (not continuous).
Ditto- I used to log it as a sport, because I felt like I was reporting correctly or something. But, like the others said, my body doesn't know the difference. My butt is in a saddle and it's working hard!
X2 on everything. I just started spinning and was surprised by how much it felt like me riding on the open road. So, no way am I passing up including that valuable mileage.
