For hocking up bugs after you swallow them on the bike? I always get at least one in my mouth and sometimes they seem to get stuck in my throat like they're hanging on to my tonsils for dear life.

I keep telling my kids I'm going to start wearing a motocross helmet so I have some protection over my mouth from the bugs.

Review your training schedule.

You're supposed to be so happy that you are out training that your smile will provide a "grille" that will catch most bugs.

My uncle was an avid cyclist and always said:  "How can you tell how happy a cyclist is?   Count the bugs in his teeth."

Seriously, just cough uncontrollably until you get the bug to one end of your system or the other.   Drink some water.

Protein baby!!!  It's like GU only different.

As suggested earlier, millions of years of evolution have helped up come up with a solution to stuff caught in your throat.  Cough like hell.

Drink some water and wash it down if it won't come up with a bit of coughing.  Really, it won't hurt.

It is very annoying when it is a stinging insect and you get stung somewhere in the back of your throat.  Use the force and learn to feel where the bugs are and then close your mouth accordingly or overbite yor lower lip and breath up. When in a cloud.
