I have a race next weekend and my tri-bike has been at the shop for the last four weeks due to some warranty issues.  I think I get it back today and that will give me one week to get used to it.  Will that be enough?

I have ridden a road bike a lot but not a ton of time on a tri-bike.  I only got to ride it 4-5 times before the problem occurred.

Just wondering what you would do.  I usually place top 10 in my age but don't see a chance of that with this particular race because of its size.

If it is a Sprint I would ride the tri bike. Especially if you can ride it 3-4 times the week before. The longer the ride during the tri the more you will want to be aclimated to the aero position your tri bike provides.

I got in 2 rides with my new tri bike before my first race on it this summer. There is still some adjustment that needs to happen before my body is used to the new geometry and gearing, but you might as well start that sooner than later. As long as you feel safe with the handling, that is.
