Subject: Saddle question
I purchased my first Tri bike, very basic Fuji model 2008.  I am new to the sport but have a question, I am looking for a new saddle, and was wanting a few models that people recommend for comfort, not real concerned with weight and all the pro things because I am not anywhere in that area yet, so my concerns are more of getting through a long ride.  I know people are different and what I have read is try them out but wanted to atleast narrow my search down to about 5 before I do this.

Thanks

I have the Selle San Marco Trilon which used to (and may still) come standard on the Cervelo p2c. It's on sale at Nashbar for under $30. It's a good, solid, no-frills tri saddle. I like it a lot.

I like my Profile Design saddle. Heavy, yes, but comfy even for the longest TT's and Du's.

That doesn't mean that it will work for you though... unfortunately, saddles is one of those things where it might work for one person, but not at all for someone else. It has to do with your build and bone structure, plus fit.

I know its expensive but I just got a Cobb V-Flow Plus.  I was having a lot of pain and was numb getting off the bike.  This took care of that.  They are $150 but come with a 120 day money back guarantee if you decide its not for you.

My P2 (they dropped the "c") with a DA build came with fi'zi:k Arione Tri2 saddle, which is the most comfortable nosed saddle I've ever ridden. Prior to that I rode an Adamo Race, plan was to move it over but now I see no reason.

It's not the most expensive saddle out there, but I've really enjoyed my Vision Aero Max saddle. It was pretty comfortable out of the box and has held up well throughout the race season thus far. Nice saddle for the $
