Subject: Blackberry User Question about Sync
When I sync, my calendar basically deletes any appointments, dates, etc. past 1 month in my Outlook and my device.  I don't mind it deleting from my device, but would like a record kept in Outlook so I can go back if needed.

How do you change the setting to keep appointments deleting from Outlook?

I only have my BB with me (no laptop right now so I can't see the desktop manager options) but I remember on desktop manager when you connect, there should be a section called synchronization where I think there should be some settings.

On the BB, when you open calendar--> options, it says "Keep appointments". Is yours set to 30 days?

I'm guessing it is 30 days and based on desktop manager, you are using the BB calendar as the default so outlook does whatever BB does.

Yep, its under Synchronization configuration.  Once you're plugged in with the BB, follow those, then you'll go to setup, I think.  In there you'll have advanced options to get time parameters

I'm just getting general options on my BB calendar.  From what I could tell, my BB calendar is set up to always keep appointments.

under general options, scroll down to the very bottom, and you will see "keep appointments".

go to the sync button on the blackberry desktop.. adjust in the configuration..
