I am watching the first stage of the Tour and OLN's feed is on the blink.  Is yours?  Add the fact that for every 5 minutes of coverage there are 3 minutes of commercials and that equals a sad viewer.

I tape it to kill the commercials. I am just now watching so not sure about the feeds yet.

Some of the views from the Motorcycle cams was broken.  But that has to do with their signal to the helicopter.  Otherwise, It was fine.  Commericals...is how they make their money?   At least they have 3 great knowledgeable announcers (Bobke, Paul & Phil) and what's his name

I bit I saw was apologizing for the feed- something about the satelittes out of Europe or something.  Might just have to be something to put up with if you want to watch it.  I'm amazed at how fast those guys are!

Because their cameras aren't stationary, (they're chasing these guys at fairly close to 30 mph), you get some feed issues where it's a little jumpy or staticy from time to time.  Just part of the show.

As far as commercials, well it's on TV, if you want commercial free, buy the video.  I figure that's what's paying for me to watch it - so I don't mind.  They've got some good ones this year (I'm sure I'll be sick of them by the time it's over) but I think the one from last year where Lance is cycling across America is my favorite one so far.

I can understand cameras on cycles, but when the screen goes black for 5-10 seconds and even the non-motorcycle shots are all pixely or horizontal lines, I am going to have to attribute that to the satellite transmission.  I think that may come with a live feed.

Fortuntely, it was all worked out for the prime-time show.  I got to see what I missed this morning.

I like the announcer who calls it the "Tour Day Frants"
