To use a New England expression – I’m Wicked busy.

Loads of work with us absorbing our Dallas office and losing 10 people net. So 11 of us are doing work that was previously done by about 20. I’m mr band aid – I create spreadsheets and access programs that all link together by macros to do the work until such time that we can sort out a proper system for it. It’s kept me very very busy.

What spare time I had I put into my yard in order that my kids can play there safely – it was open to the hill and a busy road – with a toddler that was a bad idea. Anyhow they now have a secure fence, a level yard and a new playhouse (the old wooden shed with a window is now a new house / castle/ ship / whatever they want it to be). They love it out there. So my training went out of the window for a bit but with a business trip I got back into it a little – got a big weekend ahead.
Hope you are all keeping well I still won’t be around much – got about 2 weeks of work to catch up on and I have a trip to Europe coming up in 10 days. I know that time isn’t on my side!! However with longer days I can try to get more training! Or should that be tri!

We were wondering where you'd been! I thought perhaps the Ice Cats beating the Monarchs had done you in. Hang in there Mike, we've lost a lot of folks at work too, and my job now consists of doing the exact same work that 2 people used to do. For the same old pay rate naturally.

Nice to hear from you Mike. Great work on the yard, glad you don't have to worry about your kids playing any more. Keep us posted on what is going on with work and training.

Seems to be a bad time of the year for all.  We all are going to hang in there and come out on the other side together.

I completely understand. Work and family must be balanced to recieve continued support from them. I too have been missing workouts to go to NYC with the wife and install new kitchen appliances with no one to watch the kids. Oh yeah spent a day making a garden for my 2 and 5 year olds. good luck and watch the saddle sores
