We should all bear in mind that this forum is populated by many different people from different cultures and backgrounds, even different nations. There should be no room whatsoever for rude comments based on nationality, race, colour, creed, or religion here! I have seen too many good forums degenerate into rampant flame wars based on racial discrimination and radical political views. It would sadden me to see this forum go the same route as it is my favourite place to visit and chat with friends.

Nice post Michel. I haven't seen any disrespectful posts lately but I haven't the time to read every one of them. This is a good reminder for all of us. I too have quit sites in the past for similar reasons.

I know what thread you refer to and I’ve now turned it into a hate the media thread which I’m sure we can all agree with :D

Ultimately it’s the internet. If you are going to let comments on the internet get to you then you really should be careful where you tread. (Not aimed at anyone on here BTW!)

I have no idea what most peoples nationality, race, colour, creed, or religion is and nor do I care – that’s the great thing about this form of communication – it doesn’t matter! (ps – you can add age to that too) This truly is the great Leveller.

PS – I still blame The Canadians for how cold it was in New Hampshire last winter
