Add to this the fact that they Chinese notoriously don't compete internationally, except in the major championships, you never know what you're going to get. There's some speculation that their athletes don't compete outside their borders so that they can dope unnoticed, but after the last round of Chinese doping positives, WADA has cracked down and does more out-of-competition tests in China (and other places ). Trouble is, they have to know who to test, and if they are squirreling away their athletes, it makes it difficult, I'd imagine. |
