Subject: RE: Oly Distance SwimThe great thing about swimming is it doesn't take as long as, say, a good bike ride. You can get in the pool for 1/2 hour and get a great workout. My advice, if you're in the pool, you might as well stay there for a while and try to hit 1500 every workout, it's only eating up 30-40 minutes. Just keep swimming and hit the race distance at least a couple more times before the race to build your confidence. I'm no swim coach, but the best way to know if you're going to finish the distance ok is to do it a few times. |
