Subject: RE: Tubeless clinchers?I hated my MTB tubeless. Went flat over about 3-4 days and then you need to re-seat the bead when they go all the way flat. Seating the bead involves getting a LARGE volume of air in the tire so it pops outward onto the rim bead. Gives quite a head rush pumping that fast.
On the trail, a side glance of a wheel on a boulder and it'd un-seat the tire. Wast 3 cartridges of CO2 trying to get it re-seated.
I'm in no hurry to save a few grams of tube weight. Oh, and BTW: Tubulars accomplish the same idea and have been available for quitye some time. |
