Maybe better posted in the Gear section; I think this section gets more play.  Looking at purchasing this model and looking for reviews/comments/war stories/etc.

Have it, love it. Tried the mag and fan for comparison...the fluid is the smoothest.

Feels good to ride on it, relatively quiet, as long as your wheel is round.

Fairly quiet, solidly built.  Resistance unit began to leak after a couple years, Cycleops replaced it promptly, no questions asked (it's not uncommon, so they probably don't need to ask questions.....) and if I had to pay shipping it was only on the way out. 

Would buy again, but would also strongly consider the Kurt, just b/c it's different.

I got mine a month or two back, found a good deal on it from bicycle outfitters indy (bikeshop in indiana/ebay store) I love it so far and I got a bundle deal the trainer, mat, thong, computer w/ cadence that can be used on the rear wheel, dvd, riser block all for $299 shipped. They didnt still have the deal on ebay when I bought it so I emailed them and they still did it.

I was torn between the cycleops and kurt kinetic but ended up buying the cycleops after reading a ton of reviews and comparing prices, the kurt just didnt seem worth the extra money.
