There are the obvious benefits of tri training..but while I was at the pool today sharing a lane with 2 women I met last week and talking to two more that I met this afternoon...I have to admit that my social life has gotten quite the boost. On top of my dresser at home I now have the numbers of 6 women who want to either work on swimming, or run a 5k or some thing to that effect....6 numbers ..on top of my dresser..and my wife home cleaning today........Maybe this thread should be "The unexpected problems of tri training". Scott..who is Gina...and Monica..and Kim....how come you don't have any guys numbers to train with? (Because they are all faster than me and make fun of me - "joeinco" ( the women are actually all faster than me also but just laugh behind my back instead of in my face) Actually it is pretty funny because I have met so many people since I just started going to the pool and a lot of them are married women whose husbands are either not athletic or too athletic and don't want to train with them. Of course being married myself I am obviously not a threat to them Anyway, I must admit that the training has been great so far for my self esteem.

At least I'm up front about it! Actually, I think the only thing I've really snickered about was your "oinky sandwich"...
um, dont tell bonnie, but being more active means more energy, flexibility, self confidence... all of which have translated, for me, into a SKY HIGH libido....
