Subject: IMKY and IMWI - who has done both?

I know there were a couple BTers last year that did both IMKY and IMWI but I can't remember who they were.  I'm trying to decide on a 2010 IM and right now it's a 3 way tie between AZ, WI and KY.  Looks like I'd not have to wear a wetsuite for WI so that's a plus for me but the bike profile looks intimidating with some big 'spikes' that look straight up!  IMKY has some hills but mostly rollers so I'm if anyone has done both and can compare/contract the two courses, that would be helpful.

Steve- did both of them last year.  From what I have heard the courses are very similar (rolling), but IMWIs bigger hills are slight longer.    Steve- isn't as active as he used to be on this site, but will probably reply to a PM.

Remember, Steve did both of them last year.

Edit:  Oops didn't read every post.

But for Mike's sake, please include some charts and pie graphs.

I have done IM Ky not wisconsin. I had a total of 5000ft elevation on the bike, with plenty of wind and heat. Lots of rollers no big climbs. The swim is time trial meaning so you go one by one. So if you are late at the starting dock you might start 1hr later. Not recommended in the heat and humidity of Ky.
IM Az is cake compared (about 3000feet elev.), but if it's windy or hot as last spring edition it could be a long day. Now with November date the temperature should more moderate.

Good luck
