Not for me. I'm really disappointed that they made it the same weekend as the Tour de Delta which is part of BC Superweek. I'm afraid they won't get that many elite riders for the race portion.

Also just realized that it may conflict with the Osoyoos half IM. If that's the case and depending where the course follows, it may even occupy the same roads.

Both things that I thought of already (Delta and Osoyoos races). I wonder how it's going to go....and where!!

There are actually two Gran Fondos. Axel's one on July 10 won't be climbing Richter so will avoid cross over with the Desert Half. There will also be a second Gran Fondo 6 days later, (July 16), leaving from downtown Kelowna so if you can't make one, you may be able to attend the other.

Axel says that his dad, Eddie, is going to riding too.

It looks like you have to pay double to get anywhere near the bg names though.
