ohhhhh Rudy got in trouble last night.

Side note.  I saw the movie Firewall, and Chloe was in it, she was Harrison Ford assistant.  She was trying so hard to be nice and sweet, but i so wasn't coming through, i think she is like that in real life.  I don't think Chloe is a character at all i think it's her in real life.

writing code???  do you work at CTU.. here is the summary right from the website.  Short and sweet.

Jack answers when Erwich calls Rossler’s phone. He pretends to be Rossler when handing over the chip to Erwich’s men. The men kidnap Jack to test out the trigger in a shopping mall. The President gives CTU permission to allow the terrorists to set off the gas in the mall because they would rather retrieve the other nineteen canisters and prevent a major disaster. Yet Jack disobeys orders and gives the terrorists the wrong detonation code. The men manually release some of the gas into the mall and one of them escapes. Jack and Curtis chase him to the hideout, but Erwich and the remaining nerve gas canisters are gone.

Jack killed a terrorist while handcuffed to a post and then seconds later saved a little girl's life.

Jack's pissed!

Although I missed the last few minutes I was disappointed with the episode.  Jack needs to be off the leash.  If that approach of letting them release the gas was the way to go why didn't they take that approach with just monitoring the guy who was going to tell the terrorists how to detonate the cannisters?  Inconsistent.  For a decision that important there was not enough evidence that letting them release it would lead them back to the other cannisters anyway.  How do they know that those two terrorists hadn't been written off and ditched by the main guy?

And JeepFleeb - I agree.  Logan is driving me nuts.  How does a guy with no spine make the risky call?  If your main concern is credibility, image, etc. wouldn't you come down on the side of stopping the action that is in motion and take credit for stopping it?

They could have had Chuck Norris stand in for this episode, that's how bad I thought it was.
