Subject: My goals crossed themselves out!
Hi Guys,

I usually do all my viewing & editing of my blogs on a Mac using safari. I never go the RTF option as usually I lose my post.

I use a PC to occasionally edit my training/goal settings using RTF. It was pointed out to me yesterday that all my goals were crossed out. It doesn't view like this using safari (Mac) nor in the actual PC editing box. Only when using the PC in conjunction with IE (not sure about Firefox yet) to view my blog. Make sense?

Cheers

Hi Casie,

In your training settings, your goals have been entered in html and one font tag has a strike through decoration. This is the reason for the goals being crossed out. The way to correct this is by removing the html when entering your goals. I can correct this for you if you'd like, let me know.

when you say RTF, do you mean you're using a program like NotePad to create your entry and then pasting it in or are you using the advanced editor in the browser? I ask because in the browser, text formatting is achieved using HTML.

I've attached a pic (hopefully) of how my goals are viewing on safari. On the PC in IE everything is crossed out.

I look for the strike in the html on the Mac and the PC but couldn't see it to delete it in the first line and last couple of lines.

Why is it varying between Mac & PC? Maybe that should be the question!

Sorry when I said RTF I meant the rich edit text box.

I've removed the strikeout from your goals by removing the html formatting.

As to why does this apparently work differently with MacOS vs. Windows, I'm not sure. I don't own a Mac less than 10 years old and I'm pretty sure neither do Ron or Matt.

My goals crossed themselves out!

I'd pay real money to have goals that took care of themselves. It's like the easy button for triathlons.
