Subject: RE: Stomach bug 10 days before first 1/2 IMI came down with a stomach bug during my first 70.3. Strange symptoms on the bike I just couldn't quite figure out. Willed myself to the finish and then spent the night in the bathroom with two kids who were also sick.  Listen to your body. It knows what it needs. Your long runs/rides are done by now so rest and stay hydrated. If you can get some stretching or light workouts in, great. Otherwise, use the extra time to rest/sleep/rehearse your race plan in your head! Hope you feel better soon! |
