Subject: RE: Happy Father's Day!!It was a good one. I don't see my dad enough even though he lives 45 minutes away. Took him, the kids, and my ex to brunch. We were there for over 2 hours, and the staff at the restaurant were really great about not pushing us out. Then it was over, oldest son had to get to work, youngest had to study, and I got the bill. So weird having a dad who is 74 and kids 20 and 17. When the hell did that happen??
Went home and took a nap. Then made a big caesar's salad and walked over to my friends for a tri club board meeting. Spent two hours eating pizza, drinking beer, and deciding what to BBQ next weekend after the Philly Triathlon.
So basically the day consisted of talking, eating and napping. |
