Subject: Where to buy decently priced wetsuits?
Hey guys,

I was just wondering where in Vancouver there are good, decently priced Tri wetsuits. I am looking to get one so I can start doing a little OWS training! Can anyone suggest a place in particular? I tried Speed Theory, but the wetsuits seemed fairly over-priced, but then again I am only familiar with surf wetsuit pricing!

check trigeeks.ca online, they'll arrange to meet with you to try on stuff - or so I hear. I bought from speed theory, but it was a 1yr old rental suit for less than half price - if you can wait until the fall, check that out. Maybe Pacific Multisport on Main - never been there, so not sure. Or if you can get a 20% off coupon on a box of Vector, the Running Room carries Orca and you can get a wetsuit at a discount then.

My 4 options....

Trigeeks was great, but didn't have anything in my size that matched up with my price point.  Tanya met me at a pool and I got to try a couple on, but it just didn't all jive, unfortunately.  I took the knowledge that I found to find something in my size and price on ebay, though.

I just picked it up today and it fits PERFECTLY (except the neck) and the price was a-ok for a top end suit (Xterra Vector Pro2).  

The only thing I don't like about these things is the necks...I hope I get used to it because they are definitely on the constricting side.   Not just this suit, but almost all the ones I tried on.  I just don't like having stuff tight around my neck I guess.

 That's a little off topic for this thread, though...
