Thank God there are parents out there like you who will spend time with their children "training" rather than going to McDonalds.  We all need to try and make working out 'fun' for the kiddies so they don't grow up and sit on the couch all day.  Okay, now I'm off my soapbox, Welcome to out lovely little place, it's a load of fun!

Congrats on just getting into triathlon. I know exactly how you feel, I just became addicted to it this year and I am really excited to train until the 2005 season. I may be a bit older than your kids (I'm 22), but I wish my mom was more like you- motivated to train and live a healthy lifestyle. I've tried to get her to be more active, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. Good for you for setting a good example for your kids. My parents were never active, so who knows where I picked it up from! See you around the site. =) Train hard!

welcome! another mama her (two girls ages 3 1/2 and 13 months). i've found that training and doing tris has helped me be a better mom - healthier, less stressed, time to myself, etc. congratulations on your accomplishments this season. i too can't wait for next year!
