I WANNA COME!

But my wetsuit has to arrive first!  ugh....  It's somewhere between Vancouver and Great Britain.

I want it, I want it, I want it.

Leah, the first time I met you it was at Sasamat lake. 2005, I think. I think I had already swam there one or two Wednesdays before I met you, so I must have got in the mid-end of April. It was freezing. I bet this year will be even colder.

Have fun. I'll be in Toronto, so that's my excuse.

Actually I haven't used my wetsuit for 2 years. I wonder if it even still fits.

From my blog on May 8, 2007: "That Laura is one crazy bad- chicka, and is a terrible influence on me

This is officially the very earliest I have ever been swimming in Sasamat.  So cold, my feet were numb by the end, and pins & needles in my face.  But felt very refreshed afterwards!!"

We're gonna set a new "PB".

Monday, April 21 at 6pm.

Meet at the picnic benches by the concession stand, main beach.

Wetsuits, neoprene swim cap, booties & gloves strongly recommended!

I suspect it will be short - across to the dock and back, which is around 800m.

Any other crazy people wanna come?????

Its not THAT cold? BBBBWA HA HAAAA

Are you saying that you are going to go?

OMG U GUYS R KRAYZEE.

Sorry, but yeah, that's effing nuts.  I was cold when we swam in June last year!  Maybe with booties and stuff, it'd be okay.  If I came, I'd have to wear finger protection, too.

Oh, you know I'd be there if I had a cap and booties and gloves.

Oh, and if I could get off work and out there by 6pm.

Such a shame.  Really, it is. I'd love to take part in the insanity.  Really.

I'm in if you have a women's large wetsuit.

It can't be worse than the polar bear swim back in January!

Not really sure what scairt is....but yeah! Actually I was there this morning with some friends, but forgot to bring my thermometer - it'd be interesting to see what the temp actually is.
