I WANNA COME!

But my wetsuit has to arrive first!  ugh....  It's somewhere between Vancouver and Great Britain.

I want it, I want it, I want it. 

Leah, the first time I met you it was at Sasamat lake. 2005, I think. I think I had already swam there one or two Wednesdays before I met you, so I must have got in the mid-end of April. It was freezing. I bet this year will be even colder.

Have fun. I'll be in Toronto, so that's my excuse.

Actually I haven't used my wetsuit for 2 years. I wonder if it even still fits.

Are you saying that you are going to go?

Sorry, but yeah, that's effing nuts.  I was cold when we swam in June last year!  Maybe with booties and stuff, it'd be okay.  If I came, I'd have to wear finger protection, too. 

I'll meet you guys on shore and then go for hot toddies afterwards.

That'll be worth it, at least. 

Your mom = smart if she said no. 

Oh, you know I'd be there if I had a cap and booties and gloves.

 Oh, and if I could get off work and out there by 6pm.

Such a shame.  Really, it is. I'd love to take part in the insanity.  Really.

It can't be worse than the polar bear swim back in January!
