Hoping no one minded, but seeing that another team already has three pages of posts, I thought maybe I would just jump us right in!

I tried to do two of my 10 milers yesterday, but the first one got cut short because my sweetie's rear wheel was seriously out of true. I did a total of 18 miles, but that's only one segment for me.

Heading out this am do 2 11 mile loops. My goal is basically 1 10-miler a day, but I am a day behind because of the rain Saturday. Its nice to get the kinks out and be back on the bike! (Now if I can just remember to un-clip BEFORE I come to a stop!)

Hey guys!

So far things are going good....2 days down...2 stages down...went for  a nice short ride on Saturday for a hour and then had my 3 hour ride yesterday which felt good and took a chunk of my 900 minute goal away...I'm thinking I should have upped my minutes but I wanted to make sure I reached it.

Hope you guys had a great 4th

Okay, another shortish ride today took me to 25% of my goal.  Might have set my goal higher, but I'm hoping to start throwing some running back into the mix before too much longer.

3 stages down - 18 to go!

Weather was unbelievable today. Rode the braes bayou trail in Houston. One of the best parts of that is seeing all of the egrets, herons and loons (and an occaisional hawk). The people watching is pretty awesome, too!

Hi there.  I guess I'm on your team.  I must have missed it the first time I looked and I thought poor pitiful me was teamless.

Anyway, I've gotten two stages/sessions in for a total of about 77 miles.  So, I'm on target as my goal of 9 stages/sessions and 350 miles.  I'm training for IM AZ and biking is very difficult for me.  This challenge will help.  For July I am pretty much in pursuit of quantity miles, not necessarily quality miles.

I rode about 60 miles today in just over four hours and am pretty happy with that.  I did stop for lunch in the middle so it wasn't a "straight" 60 mile ride, but it sure cut down on the nutrition that I needed to take with me!

Looking forward to being on a winning team.  I do like to win and will do my best not to let the team down.

Leah,

You bring up a good point! We were kinda invisible originally... I'm going to PM everyone to make sure they know our team is still a go!

Great job on the 60 miler! We stopped for lunch yesterday, too. Probably undid all of the good of the ride, but at least the pizza place didn't mind us coming in all sweaty.

Off to ride my stage! I need to keep it quick today - got too much sun yesterday and umm... I am evidently really bad at covering my back. I look like I have polka dots!

My challenge actually starts tonight, hope to get a ride on the trainer while catching up with stage 3 of the tour.

Did stage 4 yesterday and no more cycling planned until Saturday... Right on target so far.

Where is the rest of the team??? But I do see people plugging in their numbers, so that's a good thing!

I'm at 56 miles. I couldn't ride yesterday, so I am going to do a little extra time tonight. Have a nice 15 mile loop laid out along the bayou!

This has been great for getting me back on the bike. I had a really hard time last year trying to adjust to cleats and had sort of given up. In the past week not only have I gotten used to them, I am wondering how on earth I lived without them!
