Does anyone currently have this bike? If so, what are your thoughts?

The '06 was before they went carbon on it.  They did a total re-design with the '07 and changed it over to completely carbon.  The newer design has been shown to be one of the faster designs out there.  not sure about the '06.

I'm biased since I've owned the newer model.

I have an '08 B2 Pro (that is currently for sale btw ) and the one word that describes it for me is "noodlely". I love Felt bikes and think that they are certainly a great value for the $....but only if you are under say 150-160 lbs or so. My problem is that I am 6'3" 170 and most of my power was not making it to the road due to frame flex. For a lighter rider this isn't as much of an issue.

Really????

Wow ... that's strange ....... while there is a little bit of flex under load, it is cetainly not what I would call "noodley" at all (compared to the older Trek carbon stuff which was downright overcooked spaghetti).  Interesting to hear that ........

I recently bought a 2006 Felt S22 (got quite a nice deal). I like the bike a whole lot (and I would assume the B2 would be a nicer (faster) ride with the upgraded components and wheel set.

However, the only thing I struggle with at times is the seat angle. It's 76 degrees with a slight offset (so you are closer to 75). I have trouble getting into an aggressive areo position even with the seat all the way forward (and suggestions here would be great!) The newer frames have a true 78 angle with a dual position seat post which i have heard you can use on this bike (the seatpost) but havent had much luck contacting felt about.

So what to do? Ride it and try it out with the seat angle in mind, I's say!

Not sure if mine is the '05 or '06 model, but I love it. It's an aluminum frame, but my road bike is titanium and the aluminum Felt with the Zipp 404's rides just as comfortable as my titanium road bike with Ksyriums SSC SL's.

I assume you're looking to buy one. What kind of deal are you getting on it?

Here's my bike before some modifications. Mainly I now use the Profile Design Carbon X 1.5 bar and the Selle Italia SLR saddle. Other than that it's pretty much the same setup with the Dura Ace.

This is interesting....I have an 08 B2 Pro as well with DuraAce cranks. For me, I was coming from a QR Kilo alum frame and was impressed with how stiff the Felt.....um...."felt," at least as compared to the QR. I've been very pleased with it so far. I'm 6'1", 178 lbs.

BTW Brett, we kinda know each other although we haven't been formally introduced. I'm coached by SF coach Jen Henry. I told you "nice bike" at the West Point Lake tri towards the end of the bike leg, as we were on the same ride.

I was this close (my thumb and forefinger are about an inch apart) to getting this frameset for a great price... but, the deal fell through.

I am trying to upgrade my frame (I currently ride an 08 Motobecane Nemesis) for around $600 for just a frame. I am not even sure if I could find something in that ballpark. My plan is to just take everything (fork, bars, cranks and all components) from the Nemesis and put it on a new frame.
