Subject: Anyone traveling from Chicago area to Madison for IMOOO?

This is a long shot, but is anyone driving from the Chicago area to Madison for IM Wisconsin spectating?
I thought I had this all worked out, but am having a heck of a time finding a car rental place that will do one-way rentals across state lines (I've only found one place that will, and it would cost me $370 for 2 days - yikes).

I can't go up until Sunday morning. Anyone driving up then? Or have any other suggestions for me?

I'll be in the Libertyville area.

hey i'm planning on going up sunday morning, cheering all day, screaming my brains out for the midnight finishers, and then turning around and coming home. I live in Aurora, send me a PM if you'd like to work out details.

I'd email the chicago tri club. They have lots of volunteers going up. You'll probably find people leaving from a lot closer than Aurora. You might have to share a ride with people dressed like Elvis though. [email protected]

Vision Quest has a bus going up morning of and coming back day of, for $20.00. Let me see if I can find the email. and I will post it.

Thanks guys - I got it figured out though!
Going to be renting a car from just over the border in Wisconsin so it will be all in-state.

I'd be all over that shuttle stuff if I wasn't staying until Monday to sign up for 2010!
