Subject: RE: Log Watts in Training log? orphious - 2010-11-08 11:37 AM Hi peeps. I just noticed this. Is there no place in the bike training log to log watts??? Training by wattage seems to be the way to go yet I dont see anywhere to log average wattage to keep track in the training log other than to blog about it. Is this correct or am I just nuts??? You are correct. It has been discussed before, and BT is working on a way to import and track power. FWIW, I just log my normalized power in my logs. If I want detailed analysis, I use WKO+. My take on it is that if you're going to train with power, use an application that was designed to analyze power to give you the best feedback. WKO is a bit pricey, but garmin, cycleops, and trainingpeaks.com all offer pretty good free software since all three companies are invested in the power market. BT is not in the power market...and I wouldn't expect a very good power analysis tool from them unless they charged a fair amount for that service. |
