So, I was just told that, based on my devotion to triathlon, mostly, and the fact that I enjoy working out, that I would be a great candidate for the BeachBody.com coaching program.  Apparently, it's a way to make some $$ on the side (which I'd promptly funnel into my triathlon habit).

I have finished P90X, but I failed to commit myself to the nutritional regimen it calls for.  Where the results I managed were well received, they could have been far better.

What do you folks think?  Should I scrape up the fundage and try my luck or just let it go?

My wife is a coach and she's not a huge fan of it. You just have to really sell sell sell and constantly put be out on social media getting followers and people to buy in to what you are selling. Have to make sure you get people signed up for their monthly affiliatespam. My 2 cents, but I'm not a "salesman", so its not really up my alley.

Does the person who told you this stand to benefit from you signing up?

I don't know how their program works, but usually if someone already in the program recruits others, they'll get a kickback of some sort.

You didn't mention what all would be involved, if you have the time, the passion, etc.

I have friends that try to sell it on me all the time.  It's just another MLM scheme.  If you really believe in it and think you could recruit people you know, go for it.  Don't expect me to buy though

I had a friend doing it... it is MLM. She believed it in, but dang she was SO ANNOYING. She was doing Beach Body and Scentsy. If she wasn't on FB posting about how amazing the Beach Body shakes were (which she tried to push on me- NO THANKS), she was pushing candles (and she invited and harassed me about needing to go to her candle party- when I was out of work- REALLY?!).

Anyways, I think the other posters said what needed to be said, so I figured I would just add my experience with it.

x2. My sister-in-law is doing this, right now, as well. She has called and asked me, a non-working, full time student, to buy her stuff as well.

She wholeheartedly believes, and has written, that she needs "everyones" help to grow this business for her family. Yeahhhhhh...
