My roomate and I were on Prodigy starting the summer of '94 on a 386.  Mercy was that thing fast for the time.  Now it probably couldn't power my Garmin!

1994ish on my Packard Bell 486 SX 33 through AOL.  They just opened up the great WWW and hyped the heck out of it.  I remember clicking over to it and going... "That's it".  lol

So I just looked it up. When I got to NIH and started working on their website there were about 120 other websites in existence, total. We did web development in EMACS
