Subject: Rug Doctor?

Has anybody rented the rug doctor or can recommend another rental cleaner unit?  We are prepping my small three bedroom condo for sale and need to clean up the carpets.  My carpet is really nice actually, but my wife's Chihuahua has left some semi-visible "tinkle" stains in our third bedroom we never use.

Any recommendations.  My wife wants to bring in a cleaner to do it, but I think its unnecessary. Thanks!

I've rented what ever brand they use at Home Depot rental center.  It did a great job.  We do it once a year,...

Based on the color of the water that came out of the Rug Doctor that I rented, it was highly effective.

Nature's Miracle is a really good product to remove pet stains AND odors.  You can add it to whatever cleaning solution you choose to use.

+1 to that... I was grossed out just thinking about how many times I would lay on the floor or eat the runaway chip that fell or whatever.... <<<<shudder>>>>> just gnarly.

While the rug doctor would probably work, a leaf vac is probably a better way to get rid of your wife's chihuahua.
